Understanding occupation is an important foundation for the group activities since it sets the stage for talking about the importance of occupation in student success. I like to do this (or a variation) as an opening session.

Expected Outcomes

Participants will demonstrate increased awareness of occupation as a concept, improved ability to articulate personal identity through an occupational lens, and enhance group connection through shared vulnerability and discovery. This foundation supports subsequent program activities focused on goal-setting, problem-solving, and planning for the future.
