This session helps students consider how emotions are impacted by different occupational challenges and how meaningful occupation can be used as an emotion regulation strategy.

Expected Outcomes

Students will demonstrate understanding of occupation as an emotional regulation strategy, match an occupational response to common challenges, integrate regulation with sensory and social strategies, and create a personalized "occupational prescription" plan for college scenarios. This group provides practical tools for using meaningful activity engagement to support emotional well-being throughout the college experience.
