Sleep hygiene: Group #20 - What it is and how to "do" it

This group helps students embed better sleep habits into their daily routines.

Expected Outcomes

Students will analyze their sleep and understand how to optimize their sleep routines for better sleep, describe factors that promote or disrupt sleep, and identify and modify personal sleep disruptors. This practical session builds on sleep science knowledge to improve sleep quality through better sleep routines.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, students will be able to:

  • Identify and modify behaviors that disrupt sleep
  • Implement evidence-based sleep hygiene practices
  • Create bedtime routines that signal sleep readiness that are based on current living situation
